I’m a counsellor and coach dedicated to helping people
reconnect with their true selves and lead more authentic, fulfilling lives. I bring a compassionate, holistic approach
to therapy, combining traditional and modern techniques.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked across diverse industries—from the structured environment of the public sector to the fast-paced world of corporate sales, and later in occupational health. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of people from all walks of life. In my previous roles, I found myself naturally supporting colleagues who came to me for guidance, and it was here that I realised my true calling—helping others through empathy, presence, and understanding.

I’m deeply passionate about self-compassion and the importance of reconnecting with ourselves. Too often, we let the inner critic take control, but I believe in cultivating kindness toward ourselves as we work through challenges. My goal is to help you find that inner peace and empower you to live authentically.

 

My Approach

I specialise in person-centred therapy, which means my focus is on you—the client. I believe that you have the innate ability to heal and grow, and my main role is to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Alongside this, I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which offers practical, real-world solutions to the challenges you face. Life moves quickly, and sometimes we just need tools to help us keep up.

 

While my foundation is in talking therapy, I also integrate holistic techniques, including mindfulness, meditation, and life coaching. I’ve witnessed first-hand the incredible impact nature can have on our nervous systems, and when appropriate, I weave these practices into my sessions to help you find balance and clarity. Whether you're seeking support for mental health challenges or a space for self-development, I tailor our work to meet your needs.

I also provide coaching for fellow therapists who are building and growing their practices, helping them create thriving, sustainable businesses. I run a dedicated Instagram account called @thrivingcounsellors, where I provide a wealth of free resources. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to grow, I share practical advice, tips, and tools to help you create a thriving business.

Beyond Therapy

Outside of my practice, I create content on Instagram, sharing insights on self-compassion, personal growth, and mental well-being. My newsletter, launching soon, will dive even deeper into these topics. I also regularly contribute to articles in well-known publications, and I’m proud to have authored Reflections of a Trainee Counsellor, a journal designed to support those embarking on their own counselling journey.
